I'm doing my first stamp-hop, I hope I don't mess this up. The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show  is to create something Holiday so I thought what a great chance for me to get a Christmas Card done. Yeah!!!!!

Grunge Paper Flower week 13 Challenge

This week over at Studio L 3 the challenge was on pg 65 of Timmy's book Compendium of Curiosities grunge flower. I needed some birthday cards so this was perfect for one of my girlfriend.
I used packing tape on top of grunge paper to make Timmy's flowers for her bracelet and for her ring finger I used his rose technique.

Challenge # 12 chipped enamel

I was so inspired when I found seen Studio's L3 challenge that I had to join in. It is all about his book Compendium Curiosity and this week was page 44, chipped enamel. Any time I get to play in Timmy's world I'm happy. I hope I still have time to do Simon Says Stamp and Shows Challenge, it's due Tuesday.

Timmy Timmy Timmy

This weeks challenge over at simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.com/ was about the man himself Timmy. I was excited to play with all my Timmy stuff, I can't wait to see what this weeks challenge will be.

I had to play with his skeleton and I love to play with wax too, its hard to see that but yes I used wax again. The skeleton I purchased on the Timmy cruise in Mexico so he inspired the whole box, I hope you like it as much as I do.

My First Challenge

Okay, finally after a lot of kicking and screaming I now have a blog... I could not resist when I seen Simon Says Stamps and Show blog  about all things Tim Holtz and graphic 45 and other stuff that I love.

So here is my interpretation of "Things with Wings".     

My first challenge and my first time using wax all by myself (not in a class)...  The main background is wrinkle free distress, stamped with Tim's branch and then waxed and perfect pearled.  The black bird was made using UTEE and rubbed with copper metallic.  And after months of hoarding I cut into my Lost and Found paper pack!


I need to go my puppies are calling me (I have 4 Yorkies and one barkie Sheltie - I know crazy)...
