My First Challenge

Okay, finally after a lot of kicking and screaming I now have a blog... I could not resist when I seen Simon Says Stamps and Show blog  about all things Tim Holtz and graphic 45 and other stuff that I love.

So here is my interpretation of "Things with Wings".     


My first challenge and my first time using wax all by myself (not in a class)...  The main background is wrinkle free distress, stamped with Tim's branch and then waxed and perfect pearled.  The black bird was made using UTEE and rubbed with copper metallic.  And after months of hoarding I cut into my Lost and Found paper pack!


I need to go my puppies are calling me (I have 4 Yorkies and one barkie Sheltie - I know crazy)...

    I think you need to add some photos of all your puppies, even your grandpuppies. "wink, wink"

    Nice waxing on the card, and I'm proud of you for making the UTEE bird - I thought it was metal at first. ;)

    Your project is wonderful. Love all the different techniques and glad you finally broke into your lost and found. I haven't used mine yet either yet I am already planning on getting another pack of it. Love it.
